Introduction to the Institute of Physical Education, Health & Leisure Studies
The Institute of Physical Education, Health & Leisure Studies at National Cheng Kung University was established in 2006 and is affiliated with the College of Management. The Institute focuses on the areas of sport and health management, sport and leisure management, and the sport science industry. It is dedicated to integrating academic research with professional practical training in order to cultivate talents with an international perspective, interdisciplinary integration capabilities, and professional competitiveness.
In response to the rapid development of the sports, health, and leisure industries, the Institute continuously strengthens students’ research competence, practical application skills, and innovative thinking. Its goal is to foster professionals who possess both solid theoretical foundations and strong practical abilities, thereby meeting the needs of societal development and industry trends.
