Students who plan to apply for the degree examination in Semester 114-2 are advised to pay close attention to the following:

I. Important Reminder
Before applying for the degree examination, students must first complete the graduation eligibility review conducted by the Division of Registration. Only after passing this review may they proceed with the subsequent degree examination application procedures. The Institute completed the preliminary review on March 31, 2026.

In addition, please note that the University’s official first day of classes for the new semester will be Monday, September 7. According to University regulations, students may not complete the school departure procedure on the first day of classes. Students are therefore advised to complete all related procedures in advance to avoid any delay to their graduation schedule.

II. Application Period
From the beginning of Semester 114-2 until 11:59:59 PM on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, students must complete the online application for the degree examination and obtain the handwritten signature of their academic advisor.

In addition, to accommodate administrative processing, all application documents must be submitted to the Institute Office at least three weeks prior to the oral defense date. The Institute Office’s final deadline for accepting applications this semester is 4:30 PM on Friday, July 3, 2026. Late submissions will not be arranged for that round of oral defenses and must be postponed to the following semester.

III. Reminder on Application Timeline
Application documents for the degree examination must be submitted to the Institute Office three weeks before the oral defense date. Students are advised to first confirm the oral defense date and the list of committee members with their academic advisor, and then prepare all required application documents as early as possible to facilitate subsequent review and administrative processing.

If the oral defense is scheduled for May 15, 2026, the relevant documents must be submitted to the Institute Office by April 24, 2026.
